The WSBN are a crafty group of fabulous ladies who live in (or near) Wellington, NZ and who love to sew and blog about it.
We are strictly a group of bloggers-who-sew because we think it makes us different to other sewing groups. We “know” each other better through our blogs and our in-real-life meets.
It began in November 2012 with 7 (+ one cute baby) sewing ladies. Tea and cake was shared at Martha’s Pantry and there followed an invasion of Cuba Quarter.
It was an instant success and the Wellington Sewing Bloggers Network was formed.
Now we meet regularly for adventures and to enable keep each other informed of sewing related sales and goodies and generally encourage and help each other with our sewing projects and inspiration.

Hello Melissa
I am not sure if we have met ?? We have a market stall at the Underground Market and a shop called Whirlwind at Shelly Bay by the ChocKy fish.We sell lots of lovely buttons and trims and other sewing things (along with all the things we make ) and I just wanted to let you know that we are really happy to have lovers of crafting or visit groups with our wares , just say hi if you call by!
Hi Michelle, I don’t believe we’ve met but the WSBN have chatted about visiting your store. We like to visit the Chocolate Fish cafe for photos so when the weather gets better we’ll be sure to pop in and say hi 🙂
We should do this sometime soon, maybe? Weather is getting much nicer for Chocolate Fish fun! 🙂
